Welcome to Sixty-One Acres
At Sixty-One Acres, we exist to bring God’s sons and daughters into deeper intimacy with Him.

Hear
The basis for all relationships with God is hearing Him. We invite you into an understanding of hearing God and listening for His Voice to gain direction for life.

Heal
God desires to heal all of our wounds- old and new. As we allow Him into our circumstances, He is faithful to heal every area of our lives.

Grow
Journeying with Jesus is a life-long process and we desire to disciple and teach you as we ourselves continue on our own journeys.

Give
God pours into us so that we can pour into others. As we Hear His Voice, Heal from our past, and Grow in our Walk, we are able to give it away. We desire to build up strong Godly leaders that will pour into others and build God’s Kingdom.

Sabbatical Thoughts
Exhausted, emotional, and overwhelmed. That is how I felt this past spring. It was a full season with many activities, responsibilities, and events. (A common season in my family!) Thankfully, all of the “things” were positive and good! But even in the midst of so much good, it can feel burdensome when it affects your […]
Test It – Six Questions to Help You Know if God Really Said That
If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that journaling with Jesus is very important to us here at Sixty-One Acres. It is one of the many ways we can build intimacy with our Lord. When we journal with Jesus, it’s not “dear diary” writing– it is a two-way conversation with the God […]
Intertwined
In Him we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:28 At the beginning of the year, I sat with the Lord and asked, “What do you want me to focus on this year? Where do you want me to spend my time and attention?” As I pondered this question, I sat with […]
Return and Rest
Isaiah 30:15 reads: In returning and rest, you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will find strength. Digging into scripture by looking at the original Hebrew can bring deeper understanding to a verse. The English language causes us to miss much of what the writer actually intended. Looking up words from scripture in […]
A Look into a Hearing God Retreat
Doubt is something we all deal with. We question and doubt decisions, we doubt our abilities, and often we doubt the Voice of God. We are taught to use logic to solve our problems, instead of listening for His Voice. We are taught to think our way out of things, using only our rationality and […]
